Local Delivery — Darlington

Murphy’s Munchies is a small family-run business based in Darlington, and we offer local delivery within the Darlington area.

There is no minimum order value for local delivery.

• Orders of £15 or more: Free local delivery
• Orders under £15: £2.50 local delivery charge

All local deliveries are completed directly by Murphy’s Munchies, allowing us to provide a reliable and personal service.

Local Delivery Times

We aim to deliver local orders within 1–3 working days after your order has been accepted.

Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may vary during busy periods.

Local deliveries are made between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

UK Delivery — Royal Mail

We also offer delivery across the UK using Royal Mail.

There is no minimum order value for UK delivery.

UK deliveries are charged at a flat rate of £4.

Once your order has been dispatched, it will be handed to Royal Mail for delivery. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the Royal Mail service used, weekends, bank holidays and busy periods.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is subject to Royal Mail’s delivery procedures and service conditions.

Safe Place Requirement — Local Deliveries

To ensure we can complete deliveries efficiently within our local Darlington delivery service, we require customers to agree to a safe place for delivery before completing checkout.

As we are a small local business and do not make multiple delivery attempts, all local orders must have a nominated safe place or authorised delivery instruction.

This may include a porch, shed, or another secure and suitable location where your order can be safely left if you are not available at the time of delivery.

By completing your order, you confirm that you are happy for Murphy’s Munchies to deliver your order to your chosen safe place if you are not available to receive it in person.

This safe-place requirement applies to local Darlington deliveries only. Royal Mail deliveries are subject to Royal Mail’s own delivery procedures.

Bank Holidays & Seasonal Closures

We do not offer local deliveries on UK bank holidays.

Royal Mail services may also be affected by UK bank holidays and other service disruptions.

We may also close for approximately 10–14 days over the Christmas and New Year period. During this time, local deliveries and Royal Mail dispatches may be paused.

Any temporary closures will be communicated on our website or social media where possible.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

For UK orders, once an order has been dispatched and handed to Royal Mail, delivery is subject to Royal Mail’s service and delivery procedures.
